Microsoft HealthVault
Because of our work with CapMed, Microsoft chose PointClear as a HealthVault Consultant. As described by Microsoft, "HealthVault is a health
application platform, a set of platform services, and a catalyst for creating an application ecosystem that lets consumers collect, store, and
share health information online. The HealthVault platform provides a privacy-enhanced and security-enhanced foundation that can be used to store
and transfer information between a variety of providers' health services and health devices." (source: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/healthvault/default.aspx)
HealthVault Consultants build HealthVault-compatible applications or device drivers. You can see the directory of HealthVault consultants here: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/healthvault/cc136753.aspx

The Clinical Groupware Collaborative (CGC) is a new industry
organization, presently in the formative stages, that unites more than
40 companies in Health Information Technology (HIT) around common goals
to support healthcare through communication and collaboration. CGC members share a desire to see growth in the
acquisition and use of affordable, easy-to-use, and interoperable EHR
technology, especially among the very large group of "non-consumers" who
have found legacy EMRs cumbersome, expensive, and technically
challenging to use. PointClear's President and CEO, David Karabinos, is on the CGC Strategic Advisory Board.
