User Experience Manager
The User Experience Manager must be dedicated to making the user experience as easy and intuitive as possible. You will be responsible for designing user-centered interfaces for our client’s technology applications and products. You will also be responsible for managing client and PointClear teams.
Responsibilities:
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Offer guidance to user experience design teams
- Provide strategic vision to design efforts
- Coordinate project planning activities
- Plan and manage technical documentation
- Manage user experience, report writing, and tech writing standards
- Manage and collaborate with analysts, interaction designers, product developers, software engineers, quality assurance technicans, technical writers, and end users
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science/Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Cognitive Science, or related field
- 5-10 years of experience applying research to interactive design, prototyping, and product development for preferably rich Web-based applications
- Strong, analytical problem solving, decision-making, and leadership skills
- In-depth understanding of user-centered design principles and tools
- Excellent communication, writing, grammar, editing, and proofreading skills
- Working knowledge with data-logging tools and systems such as Morae, Camtasia, or similar
